Orleans Levee District 1A, 1B, 2B, 2C, 2D, 3B, 3C, 4, 5, & 5B

TKTMJ has completed multiple phases totaling more than 3.5 miles of erosion control paving for this project for the Orleans Levee District along Lakeshore Drive in New Orleans.  Work consisted of pile driving, drainage, earthwork, concrete paving and marine construction of outfalls.

Airfield Lighting Vault

Kenner, Louisiana

Construction of Airfield Lighting Vault, housing electrical switch gear that controls runway lights for Louis Armstrong International Airport.

US Army Corps of Engineers, Houma Navigational Canal

Houma, Louisiana

The shoreline protection project included the placement of over 100,000 tons of rip rap stone embankment along with geotextile underlayment and flotation access.  The entire project was completed by water with no land side access.

Fat City Street Improvements

Metairie, Louisiana

This beautification project in Metairie’s Fat City neighborhood was administered jointly by Jefferson Parish Public Works Department and the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.  Work included stamped concrete sidewalks and curbs, landscaping and street lighting.

US Army Corps of Engineers, Levees West of Berwick

St Mary Parish, Louisiana

25 miles of hurricane protection levee roadway that required stone aggregate, placing, and grading. Our mobilization included 20 barges, multiple tugboats, 20 dump trucks and multiple pieces of grading, excavating and lifting equipment. We delivered, placed, and graded 64,000,000 pounds of crushed stone in 18 days, project was completed 3 months ahead of schedule.

Plum Orchard Sewer Pumping Station

Station rehabilitation work included the demolition of the existing station and equipment, bypass pumping and the construction of a new fully enclosed concrete sewer pumping station with pumps and piping and all associated site work.
